Free mobile app theme changer
Golden Launcher is a free personalization mobile app that allows you to change your mobile device’s theme and appearance. Developed by Free 2020 Themes & Keyboards, this flashy app lets you use a gold-colored theme for your phone or tablet—complete with matching icons and visual effects. With the quality in HD, fans of sparkly wallpapers and themes may find this appealing. Take note, however, that this app offers this one theme only.
Easy to use
Golden Launcher’s function is quite straightforward. It offers a high-definition golden-speckled theme design for your device, which can’t be found on popular theme stores. This design comes with matching app icons and font formatting to complement it. However, it will mostly reset the placement of your app shortcuts—erasing any grouped icons, only showing some of the apps, and making your clock disappear. It will also add new apps for Boost, Themes, and Wallpapers.
When you first launch the app, it will let you know that it will read and manage your apps. After agreeing, you’re given the choice of either improving your device’s performance and boosting its speed or seeing your launcher in action. The latter option will redirect you back to your home screen and immediately apply the theme. You’ll have to set this app as the default Home app so you’ll have access to it.
Afterward, you can access the two main options again by tapping the indicated space on the screen. If you swipe to the left of the home screen, a page will display more themes, wallpapers, and live wallpapers. These will redirect you to app stores, where you can download more similar apps. However, that’s this app’s biggest issue, as it doesn’t actually provide you with more theme choices. It technically has only one design available.
No other options
All in all, Golden Launcher is a great source of a new sparkly theme. Not only does it automatically change your wallpaper and icons, but it also offers other similar apps. Unfortunately, it doesn’t fully change the theme—you may find that opening default apps like Messages will still have the old theme. It will also reset your home screen’s apps. Plus, it has only one design.
